I heard that all the different precincts in Glenrothes are based on seperate themes. Does anyone have a list or even know any of the themes?

I think u mean the street names of the precincts? I know Tanshall streets are all named after towns up north, eg. Cawdor, Durris, Elgin, Forres

Yeah maybe that's what it is. Is it just the street names though? I thought the sort of layout of each precinct and the style of buildings had something to do with it as well.

The land was sub-divided into areas or "precincts" which were named after the hamlets already established (e.g. Woodside, Cadham), the farms which once occupied the land (e.g. Rimbleton, Caskieberran, Collydean) or historical stately homes in the area (e.g. Balgeddie, Balbirnie, Leslie Parks) (Ferguson 1982, 1996)(Cowling 1997).
