hello Uncle Tim. I'll let Jamie's know to cut a keg off the weekly dray... there's always that pub in Finglassie mind, whatever it's called... it used to be a restaurant. Is it any good? Think I've been in once but don't remember it for some reason...

Hi all, name is Charles (aka ChickyB) and grew up in Glenrothes, then had a brief stay in Kirkcaldy and now happily settled down into my new life in the Capital of the Highlands......

Hi Guys
I am Scott, obviously, and lived my formative years (ooer) in Markinch. Went to school with the likes of Mark, who runs this forum, and a load of other lovely people (!!) who I have fond memories of! I thought I had joined this forum previously, but obviously not! Yet another bl00dy Forum to keep an eye on!
I now live "doon sooth" in Cambridgeshire with my Partner and 2 Adopted kids. In my spare time I am a Moderator for an Adoption & Fostering Forum, and I am an active volunteer with my Local Council for promoting Adoption. I don't work, as it was part of the agreement for us taking on the kids.
So, that is me, I don't get home as often as I would like, but when I do, I like to take a drive and walk round Markinch, god, how it is so quiet these days there.
My Dad lives in Woodside now, so that is where I base when I am up.
Anyway, nice to see so many things about Glenrothes on here!
Cheers Scott
